Thrush is an infection of the mouth caused by the Candida fungus, also known as yeast. Candida infection does not limit itself to only affecting the mouth but also affects other parts of the body too, causing rashes because of diaper in infants or infection in the vagina in women. Any person could be affected by thrush, from babies to older adults but most especially those people whom their immune system is weakened.
