Are There Any Warning Signs to Candida Infection
Candida overgrowth can be responsible for a large variety of symptoms, depending on how far it has spread throughout your body.
Candida overgrowth is most commonly associated with yeast infections, however not all overgrowth’s develop obvious external symptoms like this. If you do have a yeast infection, you can expect burning, itching, and redness to the affected area, which can be any part of the human body.
The other symptoms you can get from an internal overgrowth are gas and bloating which is attributed to the intestinal area and can lead to other problems like leaky gut syndrome, and can spor into the blood stream and travel around your body to any organ it likes.
Once the Candida changes into its fungal form and spreads throughout the blood stream, you can expect to notice feelings of depression, anxiety, mood swings, and even memory loss.
On top of this you many start to develop allergies or become sensitive to petrol, smoke and perfume.
If you are experiencing unexplainable weight loss or even gain it may also be attributed to a Candida infection, but once you start the Candida diet, you should be able to control this.
Bad breath or halitosis can be a more serious problem, since it can affect you both physically and mentally, this can be attributed to an infection of the tongue, but also an intestinal infection.
With so many warning signs, Candida can very rarely be accused without further tests from your doctor. However a simple home test can tell if you are likely to have Candida or not.
When you wake up in the morning spit into a clean clear glass of water, make sure to do this before anything else, first thing before you eat or brush your teeth. Leave it for up to half an hour, and if within that time the saliva sinks to the bottom, or it develops stings down to the bottom or the water turns cloudy, then you most likely have Candida, healthy saliva will sit on top of the water.
Obviously the spit test is not a definite result, but it is pretty accurate, I would suggest if you have any symptoms you still seek out a good doctor to test you. Of course there is also the Candida questionnaire you can find online by doing a simple search, it is much to lengthy to include in this short article.
